SNKRS is Nike's app and website for limited releases. It carries the release calendar, runs Draws and first come, first served drops, takes entries and orders, and sends the Got 'Em or Missed 'Em result. Nike writes the name in capitals, with no vowels.
In use: The pair was never going to hit a shelf near you, so the only retail route was SNKRS.
What SNKRS is for
SNKRS is where Nike sells the shoes that sell out. It is a separate app from the main Nike shopping app, it keeps its own calendar, and for most limited pairs it is the only place to buy at retail. Your SNKRS sign-in is your Nike account, which is why the card and the shipping address held on that account decide whether a selected entry turns into a parcel.
Two things people get wrong
The spelling is the first. Nike writes the name in capitals with no vowels. Mixed case and spelled-out versions turn up constantly in search boxes and resale listings, and none of them are Nike’s, which is also why they miss Nike’s own help pages.
The second is assuming SNKRS works one way. It does not. Some releases run as a Draw, some run first come, first served, some appear with no notice as a Shock Drop, and some are offered only to selected accounts as Exclusive Access. The release itself tells you which, and the answer decides whether speed matters, whether waiting matters, or whether nothing you do matters at all.
