In Laced, a profile is one saved set of billing and shipping details that can submit a single entry to a given Nike SNKRS release. Your plan sets how many profiles you can run, and each profile is limited to one entry and one size per SKU. More profiles means more entries across a release, not different odds on any one entry.
In use: On the free plan you run one profile, so a release you would happily take in three sizes still gets one entry at one size. On a five-profile plan the same release can take five entries, each with its own billing details and its own size.
What a profile is, and what it is not
A profile is the unit Laced’s plans are counted in. Each one holds a complete billing and shipping identity: name, address, card. Once it validates, that profile can submit one entry for each SKU you pick off the calendar, at one size per SKU.
That is the whole mechanism, and it is worth being blunt about what it does. A Nike SNKRS Draw closes at a fixed time and selects at random from the entries it received. Every entry in the pool is treated the same way. Running five profiles does not make any one of those five entries more likely to be picked. It puts five entries in the pool instead of one.
The distinction matters because it is the difference between arithmetic and a promise. More entries is arithmetic. Better odds on a single entry would be a promise, and nothing about a random selection supports one.
Two limits are worth knowing before you upgrade. A profile does nothing until its billing validates, so an unvalidated profile is capacity you are paying for and cannot use. And Nike’s Terms of Use govern how many accounts one person may register. That document is worth reading yourself rather than taking anyone’s summary of it, including ours.
