Missed 'Em

Also called Missed Em, missed em, Missed 'Em notification

Missed 'Em is the message SNKRS sends when your entry was not selected. It goes out after the Draw closes, so it can arrive moments after you enter and still say nothing about your timing. On a hyped release it is the result almost everyone gets.

In use: Entered at 10:18am, Missed 'Em at 10:21am: the window closed at 10:20am, so that is the Draw running on time.

What it means, and what it does not

Missed ‘Em means your entry was not selected. Nike sends it once the Draw window has closed and the selection has been made, which is why it can land a minute or two after you enter. If you entered near the end of the window, the close and the result arrive almost together. That is the schedule, not a verdict on your entry.

The part worth internalising

On a release with a few thousand pairs, Missed ‘Em is the normal outcome. It is not evidence that you did something wrong, that your account is flagged, or that you should have entered earlier. A Draw picks at random once it has closed, and most entries in a large pool are not picked. That is arithmetic, and it is the same arithmetic for everyone in the pool.

There is one exception worth checking. If the result comes back and your billing was never valid, the entry may not have been counted at all. A billing profile that never finished setting up is a different failure wearing the same word, and unlike the first kind, it is one you can fix before the next release.
