Got 'Em

Also called Got Em, got em, Got 'Em notification

Got 'Em is the message SNKRS sends when your entry is selected and an order is placed. It arrives after the Draw closes rather than after you enter. It is the start of an order, not the end of one: the pair still has to be paid for with the card on your account and shipped.

In use: The Draw closed at 10:20am and the Got 'Em landed a minute later, for the one size that had been entered.

What the message confirms

Got ‘Em is what you see when your entry was selected. Nike sends it after the Draw has closed, at the same time as the Missed ‘Em notifications going out to everyone else, so the timing says nothing about how or when you entered. In the Laced app the same result shows on the entry’s card.

A win is not a parcel

This is the part that catches people out. Got ‘Em means Nike selected the entry and moved to place the order. The order still has to be paid for with the card attached to that entry and shipped to the address attached to it. A card that expired, a bank that declines an unfamiliar merchant, or a billing address that does not match can all take the pair back after the message has already arrived. In Laced the card and the address are the ones on the profile that won.

So the useful habit is not celebrating faster. It is having payment details that are valid before the window opens. That is the only part of this sequence you actually control, and it is the most common preventable failure we see in support.

In conversation people say a W for the same thing. Missed ‘Em is the other result, and on a hyped release it is by far the more common one.
