Using Laced

History and tracking an order

Every entry, won or lost, is kept in Launch then History. A W ships to the address on the profile that won, and Track Order shows the shipment detail once it exists.

Everything you entered is in Launch, then History

Open the Launch page and tap History. Every entry the app has made is there, won or lost, with the release it was for and the profile it came from. Nothing is filtered out because it did not go your way.

That matters more than it sounds. Most people remember the wins and forget the volume, then guess at how many releases they actually entered last month. History is the list, not the recollection. If you are weighing up whether more profiles are worth it, this is the page to look at first, and the plans make more sense once you have.

Results are written as they arrive. Got ‘Em in red is a win, Missed ‘Em in grey is not. Both land after the draw closes rather than in reply to an individual entry, which is covered in what happens during a drop.

A W ships to the address on that profile

Every profile carries its own card and its own shipping address. When a draw picks a profile, that card is charged and the pair goes to that address. Nothing else decides it, so the address you saved months ago is the address a parcel turns up at.

Two practical consequences. Use an address on every profile that you can actually receive a parcel at, and keep them current, because a profile you set up once and forgot about is a profile that can win. If you share a household, decide which address goes on which profile before a drop rather than after one.

Track Order shows shipment detail, when it exists

When an entry turns into a win, a Track Order option appears on it. Tap it, wait a few minutes, and a pop-up shows the shipment information and the options available for it.

Two things are worth knowing about that pop-up. It can take a few minutes to come back, and tapping again straight away does not make it faster. And it can be genuinely empty for a while after a win, because the order exists but nothing has been handed to a carrier yet. An empty tracking pop-up an hour after a win is normal. An empty one three days later is worth chasing.

Who to ask when something is wrong

Us. That is the short answer, and it is different from how this works if you enter a draw yourself.

You never signed in to Nike, so there is no Nike order history of yours to open and no Nike support conversation you could start. The order sits on a profile Laced runs, which means we are the ones who can see it. Email hello@lacedentries.com with the release name and the profile, and include the date if the win is more than a few days old.

There are limits worth knowing before you need them. Once a parcel is moving, an address change may not be possible. A pair cancelled by Nike after the fact is cancelled, and no amount of asking changes that. And we cannot make a carrier faster. Telling you that now is more use than a support reply telling you in a week.

What History is actually good for

Three things, in order of how often they matter.

Checking a result you half remember, without hunting through notifications. Confirming which profile an entry came from when a size looks wrong, so the next entry on that profile is set up correctly. And seeing your real entry rate over several weeks, which is the only figure that says anything useful about how you are using the app.

If an entry you expected is missing from History entirely, it usually means it was never started before the window closed. The drop day checklist exists to make that the rarer case.

If something goes wrong

Track Order opens and shows nothing

Why it happens: Shipment detail does not exist in the first minutes after a win. The pop-up can only show what the carrier and Nike have published.

Give it a few minutes and try again. If it is still empty a day later, email us with the release name and the profile and we will look at the order itself.

A win is in History but nothing has shipped

Why it happens: An order is created when the draw closes, and it can sit for a day or two before a carrier picks it up. That gap is normal.

Check Track Order once a day rather than once an hour. If nothing has moved after three days, contact us with the release and the profile.

The address on a W is wrong

Why it happens: A pair ships to the address saved on the profile that won, exactly as it was when the entry was submitted.

Email us as soon as you notice. Once a parcel is moving, an address change may not be possible. Fix the profile in the app so the next entry is right.

Questions people ask

Where do my past entries go?

To Launch then History. Every entry is stored there once it resolves, wins and losses alike, so you can see what you entered, on which profile and how it ended.

Where does a W go?

It ships to the shipping address saved on the profile that won, and you see it in the app. There is no Nike account of yours to check, because you never had one in the loop.

Why does Track Order take a few minutes?

Because the detail has to come back from the carrier, and nothing is published the moment an order is created. Tap Track Order, give it a few minutes, and reopen it if the first attempt comes back empty.

Who do I contact about a delivery?

Us, at hello@lacedentries.com. Include the release and the profile. The order sits on a profile Laced runs, so we are the ones who can look at it.

Can I see how many entries I have made in total?

Yes, History holds the full list across your profiles. It is the honest record of what you actually entered, which is usually more useful than memory when you are deciding whether a plan is worth keeping.
